This look is a “Mafikizolo” inspired look so it was only right that i featured my friend from Southern Africa, Zambia to be precise. Her name is Tisungane Banda. I call her my Zambian Queen. Mafikizolo is a dynamic music duo group based in South Africa. Theo Kgosinkwe, the male member combines urban and African styles effortlessly and was the inspiration behind my look. Nhlanhla Nciza, the lady in the group, was also styled gracefully as she paired her African attire with statement pieces, accompanied with her natural African inspired hairstyle. Man! The look great together.
LoL here is me talking too much as per usual. don’t judge.
To create the guy’s look, you can either wear a complete suit, or pair your preferred blazer with a traditional African printed shirt to create a more semi-formal look. You’ll definitely stand out anywhere with this outfit choice. Trust me! And well thank me later! lol.
For the girl’s look, you can wear a full length hand made African attire but the look really comes together when you incorporate statement piece accessories and a natural African hairstyle (Bantu Knots) like she did here.
To complete my look, I have regular jewelry and a pocket scarf that matches my partner’s outfit. A scarf would have been a great addition but that depends on the weather, and your choice if you feel like being different. The accessories you wear as a guy depends on your preference. You can include African beads as an accessory but I wanted a more simple look.
